Sure there are C eeaboos out there who look down on any language with a garbage collector, but that's just a stage of immaturity that they'll get over eventually. Memorizing kills programming creativity because after having memorized the general syntax (which up to a certain degree is a necessary evil), many beginners start memorizing algorithms in the context of their current programming language - and here is exactly where the problem lies.
